Propagating potatoes from seed (not seed potatoes)
Sometimes potatoes produce a fruit. When they do, it’s full of seeds of entirely new potato varieties.
When I learned that you can grow a potato that has never existed before, I knew I had to try it. This post is the first in an ongoing series documenting my journey from fruit harvest to new potato harvest. (At some point, if this experiment is successful, we’ll need to name this new potato variety!)
