Save the dates: Draw your own permaculture site in September
Next month I'll run a blog series for all subscribers, then I'll host a special Q&A for paid subscribers.
Before summer officially ends I’ll host a series dedicated to the early steps in mapping your own permaculture site. I’ll also cover the basics on how to strategize development stages. I’ll publish a post each day on September 10, 11, and 12. All subscribers will receive these posts. You’ll receive tools you can lean on to analyze soil on your site without even getting your hands dirty, find information about climate patterns to think about how to evolve your site with an eye for the future, and learn about free design applications that you can use for mapping your space.
A week later, after you’ve had time to start your site map, I’ll host a live Q&A session on Zoom on Tuesday, September 19 from 7 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. This event is for paid subscribers only.
The live session is a space to bring your design challenges and surprises, and I can walk through a fully developed site design so that you can see what you can build and decide what you’d like to dive into next for your garden, homestead, or farm. Whether that’s a plant inventory or community analysis, let’s chat about it.
I created an Events page that you can share with other folks you know who are interested in implementing permaculture practices. As I shared in my recent post about the big permaculture misconception that you must own land, the forthcoming design series is for sites of any size. In fact, mapping out a container garden can help you look at larger spaces in new ways. The reverse is true too!
